My top 10 bad habits

I want to kick off the top ... of bad habits I gained. Hope that I can get rid of them by end of 2009!

1. I don't know since when coke became my necessity. F
rom now on, no more for me.

2. Since I started staying with Hubby, I hardly go bed early. From now on, I shall tuck in by 11pm.

3. I am too lazy to exercise. From now on, I must at least go SP once a week for gym.

4. I wonder since when I started to snack and have late dinners. From now on, no solid food after 9pm.

5. Spending money like nobody business. My savings not growing, except for AIA saving plan. From now on, I will save $300 for each payday.

6. Hot tempered and impatient during work. Everyone seem to pissed me off. From now on, I must control my temper and be more tolerant towards minor issues.

7. Napping for long hours during weekends. So waste of the precious time. From now on, I will stick to normal regime. No more naps!

8. I am not responsive these weeks.

Salted Vegetable Duck Soup



Yummy soup that need slightly more time to cook.

However, get to know that this soup is not suitable for people who suffer 风湿.. Because of the salted vegetables.. Logic behind it.. Salted vegetable is preserved and "cooling"

To counter attack and make it suitable for people with 风湿, cook together with a few pieces of ginger.

Recipe ( Serving for 8)

¹whole duck, chopped
300g salted vegetables, soaked
4-5 tomatoes, cut into pieces
¹packet of tofu, cut
¹Ginger, sliced
8 preserved plums, washed
1-2 litres water

Method:

1) Whole duck brought already cut into pieces by the seller. Remove skin and cut off fats.

2) Soak the salted veg for at least 6 hours after washing.

3) Boil the water before adding ingredients.

4) Put all ingredients except tofu and tomatoes into boiling water. Cook in slow heat for at least 5 hours.

5) Add in tofu and tomatoes 2 hours before serving.

6) Serve with pinch of salt and pepper.
